THE ARTIST

Sally Seamans is a sculptor whose work is made of wire,
plastic, metal, printed tin, line and motion. Like her inspiration, Alexander
Calder, her background and work experiences are eclectic. While creating
art, she has been the full-time Slide Librarian at Montserrat College
of Art for over 12 years. For more than 20 years Sally was a graphic designer,
including 11 years at Mullen Advertising. She studied at the School of
the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Hartford Art School at the University
of Hartford, Montserrat College of Art, the Decordova Museum and Sculpture
Park and at Metalwerx. Her work has been exhibited in New England, and
is included in schools, private collections and galleries. Her mobiles
